Cancelled our membership in May 2026, the service had been ok but there were some delays and miscommunication so we decided not to renew. September 2026 and we have an unauthorised transaction for almost $900. Called and nobody from the team is available, call back requested but not received. Emailed and got a generic responce they will aim to respond within 2 business days. Very disappointing service and we now have to raise a dispute with our bank to recover funds. Update: Handled by management who personally looked into our case and ensured a refund was promptly issued and administrative processes were identified and improved.

I really appreciate how he handled it and the effort to make things right. -- I rarely leave reviews like this, but after the amount of time, money and stress this caused us — followed by an attempt to charge us thousands more for work we never authorised — I think other businesses should know what our experience was. They may be fine for very straightforward fixed-fee work like standard contracts or templates, but once our matter became even slightly more complex than that, the service completely fell apart. Our work was repeatedly delayed and deadlines we had already paid for were missed again and again. Every time we expected things to move forward, there seemed to be another reason the something needed to be reviewed, re-scoped or quoted again. It honestly felt like we were going around in circles for weeks with little progress on the actual legal work. When I challenged the delays and billing, the response from our lawyer was honestly shocking — defensive, accusatory and unnecessarily personal. Instead of acknowledging the missed deadlines and outstanding items, he shifted the conversation into blaming me for the situation. The final straw was being hit with an additional $4k invoice for work we never authorised, sent a MONTH after we had already stopped working with them. We had specifically been following up and waiting for them to confirm the costs before proceeding. They never did — but then tried to charge us anyway. We formally disputed the charge and asked for a proper itemised bill showing exactly what they were charging us for and who authorised it. It’s been one month and they have yet to provide us with a clear fee breakdown.

I had a highly positive experience utilising Sprintlaws services, they have an extremely competent and efficient team. I found the process straightforward, targeted to exactly what I needed with easy and clear access to my documents to review. The accurate capture of my context and great consideration of what I should include in my documentation resulted in 100% confidence of my end product.

I found their platform very easy to use, and certainly makes getting legal advice easy. The discounted 12-month subscription is good value and I've used the included calls a couple of times – I can see myself using that again. I had a Privacy Policy and T&C document drafted, and found a few rounds of back-and-forth was needed to get it to reflect my product well (more effort than I expected - the first few versions were a bit too templated/generic and too much legal jargon). I'd recommend stipulating "plain english drafting" in advance. I wasn't totally happy with the final versions, but they were welling to persist to ensure I was happy with the end result, which was good. It's also worth knowing that the initial fixed quotes might surface further work that gets quoted (such as additional policy documents). On a contract review task, I assumed flagged issues would come with suggested amendments - but that required a separate paid quote. Anyway, overall, good for quick advice and the subscription model makes sense for ongoing needs. For product-specific document drafting, be prepared to do more work than you might expect.

I engaged sprintlaw to provide legal advice to a situation in my employment. I am not a lawyer but I have been around for a while and I did my research before engaging sprintlaw. I explained my situation to them and they are very conservative, they advised me not to challenge my employer because my employer can sue me for breach of contract. I suspect sprintlaw also doesn't want to be involved in legal trouble by advising me to challenge my employer. However, I know my position well so I did not take sprintlaw's advice and stood firm and challenge my employer. I ended up getting an outcome that I am satisfied with.
